Copy/Cut multiple slides at once?

Earl Klein Jun 03, 2009

Is it possible to cut (or copy) multiple slides at once to insert in another portion of the presentation? ie, moving sections of a presentation around.

Hi Earl, You can use the CTRL key to select multiple slides then drag them to the new place in the presentation.

My question is that I want to copy/move a slide in one file to another file. It seems so basic. I can't figure it out. How do I copy a slide in file A to file B?

I guess another way to phrase this question is can I have multiple files open at once? And toggle between 2 open files? Because I know how to copy a slide from one file then close that file and open the other and paste.

Its kind of annoying. To copy 5 slides into another file I have to copy one slide, then close that file, then open the other file, paste, and close that file. Then open the original one, copy the next slide and repeat, one by one.

Marcus, you can add the slides into the Slide Library then drag and drop them into multiple presentations OR make unique copies of the slide into the presentation. If you would like detailed steps for this contact me at support.
